About Me
I am a counselling and psychotherapist with lived experience that strongly informs my practice. I began my career in psychology working in a substance misuse clinic, following my own experiences of homelessness and addiction as a teenager and young adult. I progressed to the role of therapeutic practice coordinator, delivering one to one sessions and facilitating group therapy. I later worked as a service coordinator for a leading mental health charity, leaving the role to remain closely connected to direct therapeutic work with clients.
Alongside my clinical work, I have served in the RAF Reserves and currently volunteer as a lifeboatman with the RNLI. I have a strong interest in aviation, the military, and outdoor pursuits, and enjoy boating, kayaking, exploring, exercise, and spending time outdoors. I am a Level 4 Advanced Counsellor and Psychotherapist, studying for a degree in psychology with the intention of progressing into postgraduate research alongside continued therapeutic practice.
